The path through self-Awareness

Whether or not you’re aware of it, we all play the role of leader in many different areas of our daily lives.
               
That is why is so important, time to time, look inside yourself and think about this.
Put yourself in front of the mirror (an interior mirror) and ask yourself: what is your role as a leader? Are you doing this well?  Are you being the leader you would like to have? Are you the best version of yourself?
Leaders, for instance, have a common trait of certainty within their mindset. They have the ability to be decisive while expressing their viewpoints with certainty. This allows them to inspire people around them. After all, change requires inspiration and participation.
So, where does it all begin and how do you become a leader?
It comes from within and evolves over time, along with your mindset and brain development. The way you use to behave, what is your different reactions in front of different situations?  A person needs to have a specific set of qualities to be a good leader. Some of these qualities include positivity, assertiveness, and most of all, they need to be inspiring.
Generally speaking, the majority of people are guided by one of two mindsets that control their thinking, decision-making, and responses. These mindsets can affect leadership styles.
The first part of #MDE teaches us how to identify and also, how to work and, sometimes, control some of these mindsets in order to achieve the Growth Mindset status. In other words, I learned that when you have identified your fixed and non-fixed mindset, you can work with them in order to change what is blocking your progress, once not all fixed mindset is something bad for you.
When we use to talk about learning and capabilities, for example, someone with a fixed mindset believes we are all born with a certain set of skills and competencies. We either have a certain set of skills or we don’t. It’s all binary. Individuals with this mindset also spend much of their time validating their perceived level of intelligence and talent, rather than trying to develop it. As a result, this mindset decreases their chances of growth potential.
A fixed mindset lets you believe that your talent alone creates success without effort. Or that a lack of talent cannot be overcome no matter the effort you put into things. People with this mindset also pre-judge their own performance in terms of ability and capability. In their mind, everything is permanent; and that becomes their inner belief.

In #MDE It was a moment of deep reflection and self-awareness about my
behaves and mindset in my professional and personal life. From this moment on, I was able to define what was my fixed mindset and starts to work on it in order to become the best version of myself.
I realized that I always set good objectives for my life and most part of the time I failed with accomplishing it, and most part of the time the failures were related to the personal or developmental objective.

The #30DaysChallenge was very useful to help me to work on Keeping my target and avoid the fixed mindset of procrastination, that use to be the worst enemy every time I tried to do something for my own development. During 30 days I was able to keep the goal and follow all the targets I had set for myself.

After Practice for 30 days, it was much more easy to start reset my goals, to define what is my formula of success and keep them on track, doing my daily a reflection of how am I pursuing each one of my goals and if am I deviating from them or not and that is what I learned and what I am using in my life to keep improving myself as a Leader and as a person.
